The Association is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to work for the improvement and preservation of rural health in Nebraska. The Association is committed to providing leadership on rural health issues through advocacy, communication and education. The Association provides a forum to address rural health concerns and develop and promote effective solutions at the local, state, and national levels.
The Association is a diverse group of nearly 600 individuals and organizations from communities spread across Nebraska – individuals who care about improving the health of people in rural Nebraska – individuals who provide health care in hospitals, physician and dentist offices, clinics, and homes – individuals who pay for health care services or who plan for health care services provided in the towns and counties – individuals who need high quality health services within their reach.
